I am a Mexican American film photographer. For me, photography is a way to connect, to see, and to honor the people I meet. I am in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction; my journey with film photography began in childhood, but it wasn’t until choosing sobriety that I truly rediscovered its power. Shooting on film lets me slow down, remain present, and appreciate the beauty in the details of life.
I find purpose in guiding and understanding others and my passion for human connection is what fuels my work. Every frame is an opportunity to build trust, to listen, and to celebrate the unique spirit of the person in front of my lens.
I take great pride in my roots, and my work is a reflection of resilience, identity, and presence. Through film photography, I aim to create images that are not just seen, but felt – photographs that carry the weight of a moment, the depth of a story, and the soul of the person captured.
